Posted on November 07, 2016

The firm will again sponsor the Knoxville Challenger Tennis Tournament, which returns to Knoxville on November 8 – 13, 2016 at the Goodfriend Indoor Tennis Center on the University of Tennessee campus.

The Knoxville Challenger is a professional charity tennis tournament designed to provide opportunities to aspiring young professional tennis players to advance to the top levels of the game.  The Knoxville Challenger is part of the USTA Pro Circuit series, which is a pathway to the U.S. Open and tour-level competition.  Tournament players will compete for $50,000 in prize money and ATP ranking points.

The Knoxville Challenger benefits the Helen Ross McNabb Center, a regional not-for-profit provider of behavioral health care in East Tennessee.  The event is held every year in memory of Harry W. Stowers in recognition of Mr. Stowers’ life, work, commitment and passion for the Helen Ross McNabb Center.
