Ms. Read is a member of Watson, Roach, Batson, Rowell, and Lauderback, P.L.C.  Ms. Read practices in the areas of civil litigation, appeals, governmental tort law litigation, and healthcare liability defense litigation.

Ms. Read graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University in 2007 where she earned her bachelor's degree in political science and was a member of the Wake Forest Dance Team.  Ms. Read obtained her juris doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law.  While at Wake Forest University School of Law, Ms. Read served as Student Bar Association President, earned a certificate of academic excellence in the Innocence and Justice Clinic, and served on the recruitment committee for new Wake Forest Law faculty.

As a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, Ms. Read presently serves as co-chair of the Functions Committee.  She has served in the past as co-chair of the Knoxville Bar Association Barristers Public Relations Committee and co-chair of the Knoxville Bar Association Barristers Law Week and School Outreach Committee.  She has served in the past as co-chair of the Knoxville Bar Association Barristers Public Relations Committee.  Additionally, Ms. Read serves on the board of Girls on the Run of Greater Knoxville and is the current president of Nucleus Knoxville, serving on the board of the organization since 2013.
